Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026. This policy explains what Pixel96 LLC, which operates HighlightStats, collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, title, school and role, and a securely hashed password (we never see or store your password itself).
- What you do in the Service: graphics, captions, posts marked as published, settings and an activity log (for example sign-ins, invitations and role changes) so schools can see who did what.
- Uploads: logos and roster photos your school provides.
- Website requests: what you send through “Request a demo”, with the page you first visited and the site that referred you, so we know how you found us.
- Website statistics: on highlightstats.com, cookie-free, aggregated page-view and page-speed statistics from our hosting provider. They don't identify you or follow you to other sites.
- Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address and browser) used for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers.
Sports and athlete information
Statistics and roster information come from public sports data sources and from your school. We do not process student education records. Player images are provided or approved by the school.
How we use it
To provide and secure the Service, to show your colleagues who posted what, to send account emails (invitations, sign-in links, password resets), to answer demo requests, and to improve the Service. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run the Service: hosting, a database (with sign-in and file storage), email delivery and optional AI writing (only statistics and draft text are sent for AI writing). Sports statistics come from third-party data providers; no personal information is sent to them.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep account data while your school uses the Service. A school admin can remove people at any time. On request we delete a school's accounts, uploads and content within 30 days. Feed logs are kept for 14 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, each school's data is walled off and checked on every request, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is limited.
