Terms of Service

Effective October 22, 2026. These terms are an agreement between Pixel96 LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates HighlightStats, and the school or organization that uses it (“you”), including the people it invites.

1. The service

HighlightStats turns sports statistics into graphics, story ideas and social posts (the “Service”). Statistics come from third-party data providers. They are not official association, conference or school statistics, and live statistics are unofficial until final. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you publish it.

2. Accounts

Accounts are by invitation. Your school's admins decide who has access and with which role. Keep passwords private, use your own account, and tell us at support@highlightstats.app if you think an account has been misused. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or others at risk.

3. Acceptable use

• No betting, wagering, odds or fantasy-sports use of the Service or its content.
• No unlawful, harassing or misleading content, and no use that infringes others' rights.
• No scraping, reselling or redistributing the underlying data as a dataset, and no attempt to break or overload the Service.
• Don't present statistics from the Service as official association, conference or school statistics.

4. Your content and branding

You keep the rights to your logos, marks, photos and the content you create. You give us permission to use them only to provide the Service to you. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload, including logos and player images, and that your school's logos and the roster photos we set up for you from your school's official website may be used in your graphics, under the media releases your athletes have given. We will not show your marks or content in our marketing without your written permission.

5. Our service and data

We own the Service, its software and its designs. Statistics remain subject to their providers' terms. Graphics you export from the Service are yours to publish for your school's purposes.

6. AI features

Some features draft text with AI. Drafts are checked against the statistics, but they can still be wrong; review them before publishing.

7. Pilot and fees

During a free pilot there are no fees, and either party may end the pilot at any time. Paid plans, if any, are set out in a separate order form or invoice.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, including during live games, or that third-party data will be available or accurate. We may change the Service and these terms; we'll tell school admins about material changes.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it (or $100 during a free pilot). Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Ending

You can stop using the Service at any time. On request we will delete your school's accounts, uploads and stored content within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
